WP2 deals with the open-loop quasi-static control of WPP's. The aim of the work package is to develop and validate optimized WPP control schemes, for which the optimal economic WPP performance, including both power, load and electrical aspects, is pursued over the WPP life time. The resulting optimized control schemes will be conditioned on plant layout as well as grid supervisory commands and electricity prices on time scales of the order of 10 minutes.
Overall goal: Wind farm control with control time steps of 10-20 minutes
